Dear EBWN,
I am a facilitator for the
Virtues Project, and use my imagination and creativity to teach people about
the importance of the virtues. I got to present this for Norwegian
Bahá'ís at Summer School, together with Linda Kavelin Popav, who, together
with her husband Dan, started the Virtues Project. I am sending two photos of me dressed as Mother Earth at a recent Peace Concert. With sad classical music being played, Mother Earth comes out in black, symbolizing her mourning over the destructive events on her Earth. A spokesman reads about all the agonizing and terrible events taking place.
After a few minutes, the music
changes to something happy and inspirational, and small children come out,
with names of different Virtues on their chests and backs, bringing hope,
peace, joy, etc. back to an ailing Mother Earth. The black garments are
removed, and a beautiful, verdant Mother Earth emerges, with living flowers
on her head, as she responds to the awakening of the Virtues on Earth. |
