Dearest Friends,
Vision will be holding it’s first European Conference for English speaking women from Europe and beyond. The Seminar, ‘Building Tomorrow Today’, will be held in Acuto, Italy, from October 14 –17, 2004 with the opening session beginning on Thursday evening the 14th and concluding on Sunday the 17th at noon.
VISION, is a non-profit, Baha'í inspired European Women's Association founded on May 23, 2003 in Florence, Italy.
For this first International Conference, VISION is delighted to offer an uplifting and practical program. We will have the pleasure of having both Baha’i and non-Baha’i experts with us and are pleased to announce that Mrs. Sona Arbab from the World Centre, Mrs. Christine Samandari from the OPI Office in Paris, Mr. Patrick O'Mara from Ireland are our guest speakers, together with many other well know figures who will guide and inspire concerning the newest developments during this Conference.
The programme will consist of the following topics:
1. Moral Leadership leading to Self-Refinement.
2. The Girl-Child: Raising our consciousness and understanding on a topic introduced at the Beijing Conference. To be presented by Mrs. Sona Arbab from the Baha’I world Centre.
3. The Art and Technique of networking. To be presented by a member of the Office of Public Information.
4. The Pathway to Unity through the Art of Consultation: Presenter, Mr. Patrick O’Mara.
5. Preparation for an international activity for the Girl-Child.
And many other interesting international speakers and important items.
The Conference will be held in Acuto, Italy, at the Centre for Baha'í Studies, Hotel La Panoramica near Fiuggi-Rome, Italy. For those of you who may wish to attend the Conference we warmly encourage you to bring your friends and contacts! As there are still a few spaces available, you need to register immediately!

The total cost for the three nights and three days full pension is 90 Euro (30 Euro per night) and a 5 Euro registration fee for the Centre. As we are in the beginning of our activities we cannot, at present, give financial support.
Please note that although Fiumicino International Airport is the main airport for Rome, there are various economical airlines that fly into Rome’s Ciampino airport at a very low cost, such as Easy Jet, Ryyanair, etc. The following are cities from which you can reach Ciampino on such airlines.

ARRIVAL TO ACUTO:
The time from the Rome Fiumicino International Airport to the Centre for Baha'í Studies is approximately one hour and a half. We will send a bus to the Fiumicino International Airport in Rome for those who wish to use it. You will find the bus at the parking place of the Tourist-busses in front of the "Arrival" Terminal across the street. Departure will be at 16.30 (4.30 pm). If you can arrange to catch the bus, you will travel for around 7.50 Euro to Acuto.
One can also arrive in the following manner:
1. From the Rome Fiumicino, International Airport, there are trains, which depart hourly for the Rome Termini Trans Station.
2. From the Rome Termini Train Station there are trains which go to Agnagni/Fiuggi
3. From Agnagni/Fiuggi there is a bus that goes to Fiuggi. From Fiuggi one can either go by bus to Acuto (10 minutes ride) or take a taxi to Acuto to the "Hotel La Panoramica", which is the Permanent Baha'í Centre.
