As
for the activities that take place in our country, they don’t differ
much from the rest of the Baha’i world, involved in the Five-year Plan.
We are concentrated on the core activities: devotional meetings, study
circles and children’s classes. But of course, every country has its own
specific way of promoting these activities. In Moldova we have one priority cluster – Chisinau (I live here) – capital of Moldova. In Moldova we have approximately 400 Baha’is, 150 of them are from Chisinau. Most of the activities are held in the National Baha’i center like: public devotional meeting, Ruhi courses and study circles, National seminars, institutional meetings, reflection meetings. However, most of the core activities are held in the believers’ homes: children and youth classes, study circles, devotional meetings, and firesides. Almost all the friends who are involved in the Institutional process try to implement their skills in different activities, using their own creative approaches. As
for me, I serve in the Local Spiritual Assembly of Chisinau and in the
National Teaching Committee of Moldova. At the same time I work as a
secretary in a private company. As for my family, we have regular weekly
firesides, in which our 1 year 8 months old son Dhaleel takes active part
and once a month we make presentation about the Faith in the Free
Spiritual Zone “Karlos”. On these presentations we may show films
about the Faith, hold topical discussions, answer questions and then
invite interested persons to the public devotional meeting or to our
firesides. All
of us are trying to play his/her own role in the process of significant
advancement of coming by troops. We hope that Baha’u’llah will guide
our steps and strengthen our spirit on the path of serving His Blessed
Cause. With
warmest greetings, Irina. |
