Dearest Visitors to EBWN,

We send you our loving greetings!  We have received so many wonderful and encouraging emails from so many of you outside of Europe which shows how truly the earth is but one country!!  You have written to us from Puerto Rico, Canada, Alaska, Korea, Japan, Thailand, the US and many more countries with your stories, impressions and just in general about yourselves.  This so enriches our website and we thank you for your wonderful input.

Some of you have asked ‘Why EBWN?’, and so you will find on the site an explanation as to how it came into being.  You will also find articles about Summer School programs, Pioneering experiences, a very Special Pilgrimage with the most tender and loving details, new websites where one can download books, order special CDs for children and examples of Study Circles, Children’s Classes and Devotional Meetings.  There you will also find an explanation of PURE the one woman performance which was presented in England last November and then taken to New York to the United Nations as the NGO Committee on the Status of Women made a special invitation for it to be performed at the 48th Session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (C.S.W.), which was held from 1-12 March 2004, at

New York UN Headquarters, and many other newsworthy and exciting events which serve to inspire us.

The real beauty of your reports is that they show how each and every one of us has a very important role to play at this most momentous time for mankind.  We may ask ourselves, “Why me, why have I been chosen?” We have all been given talents and capacity to serve the Cause of God and in this moment.  From ‘Abdu’l-Baha we receive our answer:

“From amongst all mankind hath He chosen you, and your eyes have been opened to the light of guidance”. (Selections from the Writings of ‘Abdu’l-Baha  pg. 35)

“Out of all the mass of humankind God hath chosen the friends.  His purpose is this, that we, all of us, should strive with our whole hearts to offer ourselves up, guide others to His path and train the souls of men.” (Selections from the Writings of ‘Abdu’l-Baha  pg. 272)

With heartfelt loving greetings to all,

EBWN
