VISION Seminar update - France Dear
friends, First
may I begin on a very personal note!! I am happy to share my joy
with you: our grand child, Amin, was born last week! Now
may I express how very glad and grateful I am to every one of you, dear
organizers, expert facilitators and participants, for letting me take part
in that VISION Seminar, for the whole of it did help me to better explain
the Baha’i concepts I tried to convey for the following two weeks, (a
travel teaching, which was a benediction of Baha’u’llah for me) with a
program nearly every day in a town in France. The
topics dealt with during the SEMINAR were very well suited to the lectures
or the firesides I gave afterwards. Moreover these topics could be
slightly changed to fit every new situation: « From
Exclusion to Integration, the Process of Spiritual Dimension » « From
a Violent Society to a Peaceful Society » « Medicine
of the Heart: Bestowal of Ourselves for a Better World » « The
Hidden Words » Unity
in diversity and spiritual values were the KEY CONCEPTS of what was dealt
with in the talks and firesides. Thus, it was useful for me to get
inspiration from all the SCHEMES of the seminar that helped me to make
Baha’i principles, laws evident, realizable to people and to make them
better understand the new concepts and vision, the holistic view…schemes
clothe words which become concrete, they were invisible become visible,
they fix the ideas especially, when the schemes are projected on a screen!
I
noticed that the French people I met were quite eager to hear about
RELIGIOUS ideas, SPIRITUAL principles. Once,
a talk was organised in a « café philo » where people of all
levels and backgrounds meet, discuss, debate a lot and generally do not
agree a lot! They were attracted, quiet, asking questions until midnight
at least! We
were galvanized by illuminous firesides about the Hidden Words, where the
schemes were once again used and brought help. About
exercises: What
was efficient was the TRIANGLE exercise which brought people together and
enabled them to share their ideas and keep on discussing, even at the end
of a public talk. *The
flowers TESTS were successful and even feasible at public lectures. *There
was once enough time to use the SQUARE game. The
results of PROJECTS throughout the world were added to talks and firesides
presenting living examples, new patterns of life corresponding to Baha’i
vision and moral leadership. Thus, people, Baha’is and
non-Baha’is, enjoyed this new METHOD. Now
I am contacting associations in my town in order to train people there Waiting
