- FROM THE LONDON CLUSTER
"One team member was reading a German newspaper in the library. A young
lady approached him and said 'Hi, you must be German'. They got talking and
he invited her to the devotional meeting he was going to. She accepted and
attended the devotional meeting."
"… our regular devotional was attended by two Baha'is and 6 non-Baha'i friends
including a young seeker who is taking part in a Book 1, two of his Christian
friends who are trying to persuade him to turn away from the Faith, another
seeker who is a friend of ours and very close to the Faith. After the
devotional a very animated discussion ensued .The conversation was about
Baha'u'llah's claim to be the return of Christ and many other interesting
subjects were touched on. Our friend who is
very close told me that she found the conversation fascinating as she had been
thinking all week about exactly the subjects that were discussed! It seemed as
if these two Christian youths had been God-sent."
"Amy & I went to our neighbour’s home. They have 4 children, ages ranging from
11 to 16. We both did our practical part for book 2. I shared with them about
the covenant and Amy shared with them about the life of Baha'u'llah. Amy also
taught them a prayer, which was fun for all 4 children. We asked them to share
their prayers with us, which they did; we had a little deepening on prayers and
its effect, which is what we learnt from book 1. We decided to have prayer
meetings together, possibly
every fortnight or three weeks, sharing prayers from our Faiths. They follow
the Hindu religion. Now the real work starts!"
