Active Ladies in Switzerland

Dear EBWN,

 I am happy to send you a very short report of what the women in Switzerland are doing:

- In the German part we organize twice a year a women's seminar on various subjects. The next one will take place 8/9 November and we will be using several of the exercises of the Virtue's Project, as well as, painting, sketches, walks and lots of laughter (and good food). We have decided to open up our seminars for men and this will be our first one together.

- In the French part we have found a few women who will try again to start seminars next spring.

-  In the Italian part there is one women who has been having women's gatherings in her home with her friends. The Bahá'í women from Northern Italy came once last year to assist her and we hope this collaboration will continue.  In fact, we believe that these 10 women will begin Ruhi Book 1!

-  The last two Winter Schools we have conducted very successful afternoon workshops, 3-4 workshops at each school, under the theme: "Men and Women United in Service". We usually have around 20 participants at each workshop, men and women participating equally. By using younger facilitators we have been able to also attract young people.

- A booklet is being prepared for the 100th anniversary of the Faith in Switzerland showing what 5 women contributed to the growth of our community. The manuscripts have been approved by the NSA and are now being formatted, including pictures, for publication.

Thank you again for a most extraordinary seminar in Wels this last weekend. We are certain that wonderful and exciting things will begin. We feel extremely honoured and privileged to have been able to participate and are still being carried by that heavenly atmosphere.
