STUDY CIRCLES IN ROMANIA

Life continues to spin forward in an exciting vortex of activity.

I am currently facilitating two study circles - one the long running "Joyful Turtles" (lately baptized turbo as we are endeavoring to pick up speed!) with a number of non-B's very close to embracing the Faith and the second a Ruhi intensive with the LSA in which we are going through the whole trunk to book 7.

With the first it's a wonderful blessing to be spiritually companioning these friends. One is on the summer school committee and is such a powerhouse that I really agree that the best Bahá'í's haven't even entered the community yet. So many human resources are out there waiting. The most exciting activity though is that this study circle (the turtles) has chosen to use the material of the Family Life Task Force for once a month day long seminars open to the public. We have worked together on all aspects of the planning of this course for families and parenting and next Saturday we will hold our first. Already 17 people have registered and more are
yet to confirm. We will begin each workshop with a little cooking course and lunch together which will bring some fun and socialization into the activity.

With the Ruhi intensive with the LSA, for me it is so exciting to witness how focusing in such an intensive way on the Word of God has brought more unity and love into this institution. We're really enjoying being together and a new spirit is on the rise. Instead of complaining, a small group has just become much more action-oriented like pitching in to help the group doing the children's classes with the transformation of the huge kitchen at the Bahá'í centre into a kid's corner. Now the children LOVE coming to the centre and feel they have their own place.
