Dear EBWN,

In Wales we are still progressing with our established women's retreats and will be holding our next one on Caldey Island just off the Pembrokshire coast of Wales. Already several places are pre-booked.

It is our first time on the island - which is the home of a large monastery run by Franciscan monks. It is really very beautiful and full of interesting wild-life.

You have to get to the island via a little ferry boat that only runs Friday and Mondays - so in affect you are 'trapped' on the island for the duration of your visit. This is of course perfect in holding the attention of the participants of the retreat.

We also run monthly group meetings for the local women that have attended the retreats in the past. Some are even on the planning committee!!

In the past we have run themes such as 'directions' women- our true potential and of course encouragement to name but a few. This year it will be about our tenth retreat with over 300 women taking part.
